Terms of Service.

By using Skilture you agree to these terms and to our privacy notice, which says what we collect and keep. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Skilture is run from India.

If you are under 18, use Skilture with the knowledge and consent of a parent or guardian.

Skilture helps students and early-career job seekers see how their resume and skills compare with what a role asks for, and what to do next. It includes resume scoring, a resume check, job matching, learning roadmaps, placement preparation, skill checks and a resume builder.

A score is guidance, not a verdict. Scores and skill checks are produced by fixed rules applied to what you give us. They do not guarantee an interview, a job or a placement, and no employer has agreed to use them. A skill check is practice, not a certificate.

Most tools work without an account. Some have a small daily allowance for visitors who are not signed in; signing in removes it.

• Give accurate sign-up details and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• One person per account. Do not create accounts to get around a limit.
• You can delete your account at any time from your profile. What deletion removes is set out in the privacy notice.
• If you joined through your college, your college sees cohort-level figures, not your resume. See the privacy notice for exactly what it sees.

What you upload or write stays yours. That includes resumes, cover letter details and job descriptions you paste in. You give Skilture permission to store and process it to run the service for you and to improve the service, as described in the privacy notice. We do not sell it and we do not claim ownership of it.

Only upload content you have the right to use. Do not upload someone else's resume without their permission.

If you publish a share link to a resume, anyone with that link can see it until you stop sharing.

• Break the law, or use Skilture to harass, deceive or harm anyone.
• Upload malware, or files that are not what they claim to be.
• Scrape the service, send automated traffic, or try to get around rate limits or daily allowances.
• Try to read another person's data, or probe or break the service's security. If you find a security problem, tell us at the address on the contact page.
• Share or publish the answers to skill checks, or have someone else sit a check for you.
• Copy or resell the question banks, roadmaps or other material Skilture provides.

We may limit or close an account that does these things.

The Skilture name, the software, the question banks, the skill taxonomy, the roadmaps and the resume templates belong to Skilture. You may use them through the service for your own job search. A resume you make with our templates is yours to use however you like.

Learning resources on a roadmap are published by other people on their own sites. We link to them; we do not own them and are not responsible for them.

Some features, such as the cover letter writer, use a third-party language model. They are paused today. When they are on, what they write can be wrong: read and correct it before you send it to anyone. You are responsible for what you submit to an employer.

Nothing on Skilture costs money today. Features marked Premium are free with an account during early access.

When paid plans start, we will announce it at least 14 days ahead, and nobody will lose a feature overnight. Paid plans will be subscriptions that renew automatically until you cancel. Prices will be shown before you pay, and payment will be handled by a payment provider that acts as the seller of record and handles tax. Cancellations and refunds follow our refund and cancellation policy.

We work to keep Skilture running and accurate, but we provide it as it is and as available. It may be interrupted, and we may change, add or remove features. If we remove something you have paid for, the refund policy applies.

To the extent the law allows, Skilture is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including a missed opportunity, an application that was not successful, or lost data you did not back up. The resume builder keeps its work on your device unless you sign in, so export anything you cannot afford to lose.

If we are liable to you for anything else, our total liability is limited to what you paid Skilture in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Before going to court, please contact us so we can try to resolve the problem directly.

We will update this page when the terms change, and change the date below. For a change that matters, such as anything about payment, we will also say so in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Skilture after that means you accept the new terms.
